Trailways of New York, a prestigious and prominent family-owned intercity bus company established in 1926, is currently seeking a meticulous and dedicated Coach Bus Detailer to join our team at the Adirondack Trailways Fleet Maintenance Facility in Albany, NY.

In this role, you play a crucial part in enhancing the customer experience by providing a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our passengers as they travel throughout New York State and Beyond.

Requirements:

• A professional and service-oriented mentality.
• Experience in detailing vehicles or professional cleaning is preferred but not required

• Replenishing supplies such as hand sanitizers, toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning agents.
• Inspecting buses for any damage or needed repairs and reporting issues to maintenance staff.
• Maintaining cleaning equipment.
• Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies during cleaning procedures.
• Assisting with other maintenance tasks and performing housekeeping duties in the facility when not detailing coaches.

Trailways of New York, a prominent family-owned intercity bus company established in 1926, is currently seeking dedicated and responsible Coach Bus Drivers based out of the Rochester, New York area.

As a Coach Bus Driver, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while transporting our passengers along designated routes for safe and timely departures and arrivals throughout New York State, into Montreal and Toronto in Canada and Detroit, Michigan.

The preferred candidate has:

• A strong commitment to safety, punctuality and professionalism while operating their vehicle.
• A passion for customer service and excellent communication skills.
• More than one year of experience driving a Motor Coach, School Bus (preferred) or commercial vehicle.
• A valid Class A or B commercial driver's license with an acceptable driving history.
• An unrestricted Passenger endorsement. (ability to transport 16 passengers or more).
• A valid passport or enhanced driver's license for travel to Canada (preferred but not required).
• The ability to complete a 6-week training program that will require being away from home Monday-Friday.
• The ability to work a 5-or 6-day work week, (Full-Time) with open availability during those days including nights, weekends, holidays and occasional overnight trips.
• The ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check and DOT physical exam.
• The love of driving and the willingness to travel throughout New York State and to Montreal and Toronto, Canada.

Your benefits:

• 6-Week Paid Training Program-$22 per hour increasing to $33 per hour after 40 hours weekly for the entire training period.
• Paid every Friday.
• Starting rate of $26.50 per hour.
• Overtime rate of $39.75 per hour after 40 hours in a week.
• Daily 8 Hour Minimum Pay Guarantee of $212.00.
• Weekly 40 Hour Minimum Pay Guarantee of $1060.00.

Key Responsibilities:

Regional Marketing Strategy & Execution

Content Development & Management

Social Media Management

• Develop and manage localized social media campaigns to reach regional audiences.
• Monitor analytics to evaluate social media performance and identify areas for improvement.

Employee Recruitment & Engagement

• Design and implement marketing campaigns to attract bus drivers, diesel mechanics, and other critical roles.
• Partner with HR to showcase the Trailways culture and career opportunities.
• Develop employee engagement initiatives to build a strong internal brand and sense of community.

Seasonal College Route Promotion

• Plan and execute campaigns targeting students, parents, and universities to maximize ridership on seasonal college routes.
• Foster relationships with local colleges to increase awareness of Trailways services.

Collaboration & Reporting

• Act as the primary liaison between regional stakeholders and the corporate marketing team.
• Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing efforts, providing actionable insights and recommendations.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on regional or localized campaigns.
• Proven track record of managing social media platforms and content development.

Skills & Competencies

• Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
• Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining and repairing our modern fleet of motor coaches, ensuring ensure safe and efficient transportation services throughout New York State and beyond.

Responsibilities:

• Performing welding and fabrication tasks on various motor coach components, including frames, body panels, and structural elements.
• Inspecting, testing, repairing, and making necessary adjustments to welded joints and fabricated parts to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

• 3 or more years as an Auto Body Mechanic with strong welding skills, preferably in the motor coach or school bus industry.
• Availability for the 1st shift, (7:30am-4:00pm) and a 5-day work-week which can and must include weekends and holidays.
• Strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to learning.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Possess own basic tools required for the job.

As a driver you will operate luxury motorcoaches from one location to another to provide transportation to thousands of passengers. Your duties include picking up passengers, maintaining cleanliness of the coach, completing required inspections and making minor repairs, collecting ticket fares, helping passengers to load and unload baggage, collaborating with our 24-hour dispatch, and following time schedules.

CDL Class B Motor Coach Driver (CDL Training Offered!) Requirements:

• CDL Class B with passenger and air brake endorsements required
