Newsweek names Trailways America’s Second Best Bus Company for 2025

Trailways, the largest and oldest network of independent motorcoach operators in North America, has been recognized by Newsweek as one of America’s Best of the Best 2025, affirming its reputation as a trusted leader in bus transportation.
Trailways ranked #2 nationwide among bus carriers in the Transportation & Travel category, earning an overall score of 83.5. The honor reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to service excellence, innovation, and community impact.
This year’s list is based on an independent survey of more than 24,000 U.S. customers, generating over 190,000 individual evaluations. In total, 516 brands were recognized across 164 categories, with only the top three to five in each receiving the award. Notable honorees alongside Trailways include Chewy, Nordstrom, Progressive, Staples, and Trader Joe’s.
